1.Please introduce yourself briefly
I’m a Japanese graphic designer based in Seoul. Usually l design for magazines, but l also create illustrations for personal projects, write columns and hold events that introduce Korea to Japan. Recently l take part in various activities besides design.
2.What is the most attractive part of being in Seoul?
Seoul is a dynamic city which is filled with young power and new talents.There are quite a lot of art galleries, music shows and fashion boutiques.The public here appreciate various styles. Also, compared with Japanese who are mostly shy, individual and conservative, Koreans tend to show their passion and enthusiasm,l can feel it when l watch sports or music performances
3.Where do you find your inspiration for drawings mostly?
It is sounds normal but l often find inspiration at Tumblr or Pinterest. lol I am often inspired by photographs and come up with lots of ideas.
