How are you, what have you been up to?
Hi! I’ve been pretty mellow.

What music did you grow up around, and is that what formed your long- term musical make-up?
I grew up around a lot of soft psych rock, classical, and new agey meditational type stuff. Maybe it helped! I dunno. What I remember getting most excited about though were my older cousin’s rap records.

How important was it to get involved with Boiler Room?
I like to think we’ve mutually helped each other grow over these past three years.

How did it happen?
I got involved in the show through my boss at Stones Throw Records, Peanut Butter Wolf. They were set to do a takeover for Boiler Room in Los Angeles, and Wolf suggested I open. Thanks only to the music I played, I got asked if I wanted to run a recurring outpost for the broadcast in Los Angeles.

Your life must change tremendously over the past few years. How do you feel\cope with the change?
If things don’t change, I worry. It’s a really bad trait of mine; fear of stagnancy. Currently waiting for the moment where I don’t want things to change.

You have a regular show on NTS, and your own club night, how did you make the selection before a show?
Anything I play is really selfish; it’s – what I want to hear the most or what I’ve been feeling most lately.

Which DJ\musician inspires you the most?
J Rocc.
